Make a Difference This September: CHKD Fundraiser!

This September, we're uniting to raise funds for the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD), supporting the incredible care they provide to kids in our community. We're excited to involve both staff and members in this important cause!

Special Staff "Jeans for CHKD" Day: Friday, September 18th

We're adding some fun to our fundraising with a special "Jeans for CHKD" day on Friday, September 18th. For a $5 donation, you can wear your jeans to work and directly support CHKD.

Our goal is 90% staff participation for this initiative! We're confident we'll hit this target, so to celebrate, everyone will enjoy an ice cream social on September 18th!

Important Note: This "Jeans for CHKD" day on September 18th is an extra jeans day and is separate from our regular "Denim for Dollars" campaign on City Pay Days. Please remember to still wear your Beach Municipal FCU logo shirt with your jeans.

Involving Our Members: Donations All Month Long

From September 1st to September 30th, we'll be accepting donations from our members (and staff!) at both branches.

Here's how it works:

When a member or staff member donates, you'll write their first name on a balloon decoration.

Post the balloon up in the Credit Union branch.

On September 30th, we'll gather at both branches to take a group picture with all the donation decorations, showcasing our collective impact!

Donation Instructions:

Please deposit all CHKD donations into GL#801-007. In the description, be sure to add "CHKD" and the branch’s initial. Example: If you are working at PA and take a donation, the memo line should say “CHKD PA”.

Let's make this our most successful CHKD fundraiser yet! Your participation truly makes a difference in the lives of children.
